My friend, Wycleff, and I had zero knowledge of Spanish before coming to Colombia. But in just one month of studying at the EHE Spanish School we both felt confident to venture out ourselves. I wanted to go exploring and a friend of mine recommended that I should to go to Juan Curi Waterfall.
Language isn’t the only thing Wycleff is learning in Colombia! He’s also learning about the art of dance salsa and others latin dance during his time in Socorro too.
I did a day trip to Las Gachas because it’s only a skip and a hop away from Socorro. I travelled with friends of EHE Spanish School.

I am currently studying at EHE Spanish School in the centre of Santander, in a town called El Socorro. El Socorro is about a 30 minute bus drive to San Gil.
Located in the center of the town, it’s certainly the first impression El Socorro gave to the world. As the 3rd highest in all of Colombia, it is a master piece in Roman-Renascence style.
